 | ZigTech - The Energy Drink for your Feet What is ZigTech? ZigTech is a unique, dramatic, geometric, zig-zag shaped outsole engineered with a special lightweight foam. Everything about Reebok’s ZigTech footwear is designed to conserve energy and return it to the athlete. How do ZigTech shoes work? ZigTech cushions and absorbs the impact of the heel strike and sends a wave of energy along the length of the shoe, propelling the athlete forward with each step. With most athletic footwear, energy return is focused on the vertical impact of the heel strike. With ZigTech, energy is transferred horizontally along the zigs, so more of it is returned to the forefoot. | Reebok ZigTech absorbs impact and sends a wave of energy along the length of the shoe | The Result: With more efficient shoes, your muscles don’t have to work as hard. ZigTech's combination of energy return and cushioning reduces wear and tear on key leg muscles by up to 20 percent. | Reebok ZigTech reduces wear and tear on key leg muscles by up to 20 percent | | |
Amazon.com Product Description It’s like an energy drink for your feet. As Reebok’s most technically advanced training shoe to date, ZigTech allows key leg muscles to do less, so you can do more. Its patented sole technology conserves and returns energy for a soft and springy ride.

The Best August 30, 2010 Bryan L. Pursley I hate the colors they offer in the Zig series but I will say the shoe is the best running shoe on the market. I am a bigger guy and carry alot of muscle mass and these shoes are like magic. I really feel lighter on my feet and can run for longer periods. I think they look goofy but they work. Buy these shoes and experience for yourself.
Not Durable August 25, 2010 jenfox114 (leesburg, va United States) I got these shoes less than 24 hours and the mesh on the outside is torn. They agreed to replace with new shoes..Big deal I still paid $100 for shoes that will probably rip again!
desert runners August 5, 2010 moondustcough Great shoes!! got them VERY fast(considering my remote location) been wearing them about a month. Fit like a glove, cool design..Exta comfortable, I have knee and back problems galore and I can actually tell this pair is and will make running easier on my body.
OK I guess August 1, 2010 Tommy J. Jones 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
If this review was based soley on comfort Id give it 5 stars. Its is soft, doesnt seem to correct your stride at all because its so soft. Ive ran for a month on them and they are OK. They do not run tight on my feet at all, loose in the front of the foot. If you need a stability shoe do go with this one. Bottom line, I had "super feet" insoles and my feet started hurting. Got some Brooks "beasts" pain went away after a month of running. Got these zigs and after a month the pain coming back. For back and knee probs Id recommend them becasue they absorb all the shock. For a training shoe in general, the lack of stability and general durability I do not recommend. The lightest shoe I ever worn.im going to give the "five fingers" a try.

LOOK Great, only lasted 8 weeks. The mesh at the top tore in 4 different spots.
